Not just an injection.
A concept.

Genuine rejuvenation does not start with a product – but with a plan. We develop treatment strategies that respect your individual anatomy and reinforce your natural radiance over the long term.

Our approach

Why a treatment concept makes the difference

Most practices treat wrinkles. We address the underlying causes.

A face does not age evenly. Bone mass is lost, fat pads shift, skin structure thins through the breakdown of collagen and elastin. A single treatment cannot fully address this multi-layered process.

That is why we work according to the layered principle. Each concept emerges from the personal aesthetics consultation – based on your anatomy, your skin quality and your goals.

„Good aesthetic medicine is not seen – it is only felt, because one feels more at ease when looking in the mirror."
Dr. med. Thomas Ackermann · Specialist in Anaesthesiology

What concerns you?

Find yourself reflected here

Every patient brings her own story. The right starting point does not depend on age – but on what you want to change today.

Often from the mid-twenties

„I want to start caring for my skin properly now."

The skin is still firm, but first UV damage and early collagen losses are beginning to appear. Prevention offers the strongest leverage here – skin analysis, medical skincare and targeted active-ingredient supply.

Often from the early thirties

„I look tired – even though I am not."

Collagen production slows down measurably (approx. 1% loss per year from age 25), the skin loses radiance and tone. Biostimulators reactivate the body's own collagen synthesis.

Often from the mid-forties

„My face is losing its contour."

Bone resorption in the area of chin and cheekbone, downward displacement of the fat pads. An effective concept starts at the foundation – not at the surface.

Often from age 55

„My skin feels thin and lacks firmness."

The collagen and elastin scaffold is noticeably thinned. Collagen-stimulating treatments reactivate fibroblast activity and build new connective tissue.

Good to know: These profiles serve as orientation. The actual recommendation is always based on your individual anatomy – not on an age bracket.

The layered principle

From the inside out – in the right sequence.

The face anatomically consists of several overlying layers: bone, SMAS, fat compartments, connective tissue and skin. Effective aesthetics respects this hierarchy.

Whoever optimises the surface without addressing the foundation treats symptoms rather than causes.

Not every concept requires all layers. Sometimes a single, well-chosen measure is the right step. The aesthetics consultation clarifies what makes sense for you.

Explained on evidence

Why collagen stimulation needs time

Effective treatments show their full result only months later. This is not a weakness – it is biology.

Collagen synthesis cascade (simplified): Collagen-stimulating treatments (HIFU, Profhilo, Sculptra, polynucleotides, microneedling) activate fibroblasts via various signalling pathways.

Stimulus TGF-β Fibroblasts Procollagen HSP47 folding Triple helix ECM integration

HSP47 = Heat Shock Protein 47 · ECM = Extracellular Matrix · TGF-β = Transforming Growth Factor beta

Visible immediately

Hyaluronic acid filler

Mechanical volume replacement – result directly after the treatment. Lasts 9–18 months depending on product and location.

4–8 weeks

Profhilo · Polynucleotides · HIFU

First visible improvements. Fibroblasts actively produce new collagen and elastin. Skin becomes firmer, tone more even.

3–6 months

Sculptra · Ellansé

Peak of neocollagenesis. PLLA micro-particles leave behind a newly formed collagen scaffold. Results last up to 2 years.

Timeline

What happens in your body – week by week

Many patients receive the most flattering compliments only months after the treatment – because the change looks so natural that no one suspects a treatment.

Day 1–3

Inflammatory phase (physiological)

Mild swelling, redness or a feeling of tightness – entirely normal and part of the intended wound-healing cascade that initiates collagen synthesis.

Week 1–4

Invisible work

TGF-β activates fibroblasts. Procollagen is being formed, HSP47 folds the collagen chain into the triple helix. Little visible from the outside yet – the actual work is beginning.

Week 4–8

First visible improvements

New collagen fibrils are integrated into the extracellular matrix. Greater firmness, finer pores, a fresher overall appearance.

Month 3–6

Peak of neocollagenesis

The collagen scaffold continues to densify, cross-linking and maturation of the fibrils increase. With Sculptra (PLLA), collagen stimulation reaches its peak here.

Month 6–12

Long-term result & maintenance

Collagen remodeling continues. Result lasts 12–24 months – can be extended through maintenance treatments.

Our ecosystem

Aesthetics, cosmetics & medicine under one roof

Medical treatments and professional skincare interlock here. The result lasts longer because the skin is prepared and cared for.

Frequently asked questions

About our treatment concepts

Why do collagen-stimulating treatments take so long?

Collagen-stimulating treatments activate the body's own fibroblasts via signal molecules (primarily TGF-β). This biological process takes weeks.

First visible improvements appear after 4–8 weeks. The maximum lies, depending on the method, at 3–6 months. The results look natural because they are generated by the body itself.

Do I have to commit to an entire concept?

No. Some patients opt for a multi-step plan, others for a single, targeted treatment. The aesthetics consultation will clarify what suits you.

How are the services billed?

The initial consultation in the aesthetics consultation is billed according to GOÄ. You will receive a transparent overview for all recommended measures – without hidden items and without sales pressure.

What is the difference between fillers and biostimulators?

Fillers (e.g. hyaluronic acid) mechanically replace lost volume. The result is visible immediately, lasts 9–18 months.

Biostimulators (Profhilo, Sculptra, polynucleotides) activate the body's own collagen synthesis. Results are slower, but structurally more sustainable. Both approaches ideally complement each other.

Do I also need a cosmetic treatment?

Not mandatory, but often advisable. Peelings und LED phototherapy prepare the skin and extend the result. Microneedling additionally stimulates the superficial collagen layer via mechanotransduction.

I have already been treated elsewhere and feel unsure.

We analyse your situation objectively. If incorrectly placed hyaluronic acid is present, it can with hyaluronidase be dissolved before we plan anew. No judgement, no criticism of previous treatments.

Your first step

Analysis, not sales.

In the personal aesthetics consultation we take time for a thorough analysis. At the end you have a clear plan – and the freedom to decide in peace.
