Billing & process

Heilfürsorge & Beihilfe – what you need to know

Civil servants of the police and fire service generally have a claim to full or partial coverage of private medical services. We bill according to GOÄ – transparent and without surprises.

Important: Bavarian police officers have free Heilfürsorge – private medical GOÄ services are generally fully reimbursed. Fire-service civil servants have, depending on their employer, Beihilfe (50–70 %) + private remaining-cost insurance. In case of doubt, we clarify this with you in advance.
How is the billing handled?

We bill exclusively according to GOÄ. These invoices are generally fully or partially reimbursed by Heilfürsorge (Bavarian Police) and the Beihilfe offices. All costs are communicated in advance.

Is there general-practitioner care?

Yes. As specialist in general medicine, Dr. Wintzheimer covers the entire spectrum of classic general-practice medicine – including prevention, vaccinations, certificates and referrals. Also as ongoing general-practitioner care.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

As a private practice with a pure appointment-only structure, there are no month-long waiting periods. We assign appointments promptly – and keep a daily reserve free for acute cases. Online booking possible at any time.

Is the practice also suitable for family members?

Yes. The private medical service is also open to your family members. Co-insured children and partners benefit from the same services – in coordination with your Beihilfe office.

Does Heilfürsorge cover all costs?

Bavarian police officers are entitled to free Heilfürsorge – private medical GOÄ invoices are generally fully reimbursed without co-payment. Fire-service civil servants have, depending on their employer, Beihilfe (50–70 %) and supplementary private remaining-cost insurance. We are happy to advise you on your specific situation in the first appointment.

Can I choose the practice as my general practitioner?

Yes. As specialist in general medicine, Dr. Wintzheimer takes on ongoing general-practitioner care including prevention, vaccinations, certificates and referrals into the specialist system. As a private practice, we are not bound by public-insurance ties.

How flexible are appointments with shift work?

We know that shift work does not allow classic 9-to-5 doctor visits. We offer flexible appointment times and keep a daily acute reserve free. Through the practice app, you can also ask questions and view results without having to appear in person.

Do you also treat occupational psychological strain?

Yes. Dr. Wintzheimer has the additional qualification in psychosomatic primary care and can medically classify and support stressful operational experiences, exhaustion states and burnout symptoms. If needed, a targeted referral to specialists is made.

Are there services in the area of aesthetics and wellbeing?

Yes – this is another focus area of the practice. Dr. Ackermann is specialized in evidence-based aesthetic medicine: collagen stimulation, bioregeneration, HIFU lifting and more. These services are billed privately and are not part of Heilfürsorge – but can be discussed in an appointment on request.
