Our philosophy.
Medicine with measure.
We are not about quick effects or artificial trends. We are about natural results, absolute medical safety and care that orients itself to your life – in every phase.
Get to know us now"It is not my goal to create a new face. My goal is to make visible again the radiance that may have been lost in the stress of everyday life. So that you can look in the mirror and say: Yes, that's me. Just fresher.""Dr. med. Thomas Ackermann · Specialist in Anesthesiology · Herzogenaurach
Why we think about medicine differently
Three worlds that come together here
I do not believe in pigeonholes. A person is not a sum of individual parts – a wrinkle here, a hormone there. Everything is connected.
01
SafetyThe anesthesiological background
My training as a specialist in anesthesiology means one thing for you above all: a high level of safety. Freedom from pain and comfort are not extras – they are the foundation of every treatment. You are in safe hands.
02
The foundationThe general-medicine perspective
True beauty comes from within. We look at hormones, stress levels and metabolism. If the engine stutters, the façade cannot shine. In our private practice we have the time to consider these connections and bring them into harmony.
03
The fine tuningThe aesthetic standard
This is about nuances. About respect for your anatomy. We do not simply smooth – we harmonize. The result should always be so natural that people ask whether you have been on vacation. Not which doctor you saw.
Depth effect meets surface care
The honest division of labor
I work in depth
Where structure arises, where muscles relax and where cells regenerate. Collagen stimulation, volume restoration, neuromodulatory treatments – all of this happens on a level that is invisible to the eye, but decisive for the result.
I am a physician, not a cosmetician. And precisely for that reason, I value the work of professional cosmeticians so highly.
Janina Wagner cares for the surface
Medical skincare, microneedling, facial massages and wellness treatments make the skin surface glow. What we build in depth is cared for and extended by professional cosmetics.
What you may expect
Our promise to you
A private practice where you are not merely treated but seen as a person.
Honesty
If a treatment does not suit you or would look unnatural, I say no. That too is medical care.
No sales pressure
I do not sell you anything. I advise you. The decision always lies with you – without time pressure and without persuasion.
Time
I schedule appointments so that we have time to spare. Nobody is rushed through. Your appointment belongs entirely to you.
Sensitivity
Through my experience in pain therapy, I know how to set needles so that you barely feel them. Comfort is not an extra.
Evidence-based
In my practice, only products and procedures whose efficacy is supported by reputable studies are used.
Discretion
No crowded city-center practice, no waiting room with strangers' faces. Absolute privacy as a self-evident standard.
You do not leave this practice as someone else.
"You leave as the best, most rested version of yourself. More self-assured. More relaxed. And with the good feeling of having been in exactly the right place."Dr. med. Thomas Ackermann Arrange an appointment
Frequently asked questions
About the practice philosophy
What does "Harmonie der Ästhetik" mean concretely?
It stands for the interplay of all levels: external treatment, inner balance and personal wellbeing. Not creating a new face – but making visible the radiance that is already present.
Why is an anesthesiological background relevant in aesthetics?
Aesthetic medicine is medicine – with all the associated risks. A specialist in anesthesiology knows vascular anatomy, pain management and complication management at a level that is unusual in aesthetic medicine: ultrasound vascular mapping before injections, professional anesthesia procedures and immediate competence with unexpected reactions.
Do you also treat when an intervention is not sensible?
No. If a treatment does not fit anatomically, expectations are unrealistic or the result would look unnatural, this is clearly communicated. That too is medical care – and for many patients the reason why they return.
How are inner health and outer aesthetics connected?
Directly and measurably. Hormone status, micronutrient supply and stress levels influence the skin and the response to treatments. Collagen-stimulating procedures show better results when the body has the necessary raw materials (protein, vitamin C, hormones) available.
