What to know about redemption

  • Validity period: three years from issuance (statutory minimum period under §§ 195, 199 BGB, German Civil Code).
  • Transferability: vouchers are transferable — they do not have to be redeemed by the originally gifted person.
  • Occasions: on request the practice provides a high-quality voucher layout (printed or as PDF) for handover — please name the desired format and occasion during the order conversation.
  • Personalisation: a personal greeting or occasion name can be noted on the voucher.
  • Initial treatment requirement: for treatment vouchers covering medical-cosmetic combined treatments, a medical indication assessment in the initial consultation is customary. Anyone who wants to apply the voucher to another treatment in the practice can do so after consultation without difficulty.
  • Remaining balance: for value vouchers, remaining balance is stored and can be used later — no loss of value.
  • Refund: a cash payout of the voucher value is not possible (statutory requirement).
