+ Does PRP also help with complete baldness?
No, we have to remain realistic: PRP cannot work miracles if the hair root has already completely died (perfectly smooth skin). However, it works excellently for thinning hair, receding hairline, or diffuse hair loss, as it reactivates the still living but “dormant” follicles.
+ How many treatments are necessary?
The hair cycle is very slow. For measurable success, we generally recommend 3 to 4 treatments at intervals of 4 weeks as an initial course. After that, a maintenance regimen of 1 to 2 booster sessions per year is usually sufficient to sustainably support strong hair growth.
+ Can I return to work immediately after the treatment?
Yes, there is no downtime. The scalp may be slightly reddened on the day of treatment and may feel a bit warm or “tight”. However, you are immediately socially presentable again. You should only avoid intense exercise and visits to the sauna on the same day.
