Deep Dive: The Principle of Collagen Induction

We work with a sterile, medical high-performance pen fitted with extremely fine needles. These needles glide gently over the skin and create thousands of microscopically small channels in the dermis.

  • The healing impulse: The body registers these micro-injuries and immediately releases messenger substances. The “master builder cells” (fibroblasts) are alerted and massively produce new collagen and elastin to repair the skin. The tissue becomes thicker and firmer.
  • Open channels: The tiny punctures act like open doors. Active ingredients (meso-serums such as pure hyaluron, antioxidants or vitamins) that we apply during the treatment now penetrate unhindered into the deeper layers of the skin – an effect no cream in the world can achieve.

Frequently Asked Questions About Microneedling

+ Will I have any downtime after the treatment?
Immediately after medical needling, the skin is intensely reddened and feels like after a mild to moderate sunburn. This is a desired inflammatory reaction. The redness usually subsides significantly after 1 to 2 days. In the days that follow, the skin may flake slightly. We recommend scheduling the treatment before a weekend if possible.
+ When will I see the final result?
You will usually notice an initial “glow” and smoother surface after just a few days. However, real tissue regeneration (the production of new collagen) takes time. The final, tightened result is visible after about 4 to 6 weeks.
+ How often should the treatment be performed?
For lasting skin improvement (especially with enlarged pores or mild scars), we recommend an initial course of 3 to 5 sessions at intervals of 4 weeks each. Afterwards, one to two maintenance treatments per year are sufficient to preserve the radiant complexion.
