Mesotherapy Cocktail
Mesotherapy Cocktail — physician-administered treatment with a revitalization focus. Micro-injection of an individually configured active-ingredient solution into the dermis, targeted at general skin-quality improvement. Typically 3–5 sessions, 1–4 weeks apart. The active-ingredient configuration is determined by the physician in the initial consultation.

When the skin needs support
A blend of vitamins, amino acids, and hyaluronic acid is introduced into the upper skin layers. The approach targets skin quality, not shape.
What the Mesotherapy Cocktail is as a treatment
The Mesotherapy Cocktail is a physician-administered treatment with a revitalization focus — the application of medical active-ingredient solutions via micro-injections into the dermis. Unlike MesoLift with its lifting focus, the emphasis here is on general skin-quality improvement, hydration optimization, and revitalization.
The active-ingredient configuration is tailored individually by the physician to the treatment goal — in the initial consultation, we clarify which solution matches your indication. Mesotherapy as a method has been established in aesthetic medicine for decades; a controlled observational study in 64 patients on a hyaluronic acid–antioxidant combination documented a measurable improvement in skin hydration and wrinkle depth across the face, neck, décolletage, and hands over a session series (Sparavigna et al. 2015).
How mesotherapy works
| Mechanism | Effect |
|---|---|
| Micro-injection into the dermis | Active-ingredient solution is introduced in micro-bolus droplets into the upper/mid skin layer — local availability at the target site |
| Depot effect | Active ingredients remain locally present for several days — no systemic burden |
| Mechanical micro-stimulation | Fine punctures activate skin renewal — a gentle microneedling effect |
| Cumulative improvement | Multiple sessions 1–4 weeks apart reinforce the effect — typically 3–5 sessions depending on findings |
Within the bio-regenerator spectrum
Revitalization as the conceptual focus
Within the practice's material spectrum, the Mesotherapy Cocktail is its own class with a revitalization focus:
- Mesotherapy Cocktail — individually configurable, revitalization and skin quality. 3–5 sessions.
- MesoLift — mesotherapy with a lifting/tone focus.
- Micro-Droplet Hyaluron — skin booster with soft hyaluronic acid, hydration focus.
- Polynucleotides (PN-HPT) — bio-active ingredient with a defined compound.
The medical choice between these classes is part of the initial consultation — no blanket recommendations without individual findings.
Why this practice
Even the small needle is an injection
Mesotherapy and active-ingredient injections work superficially, in small amounts, and with fine needles — the vascular risk is markedly lower than with volume augmentation. Lower doesn't mean zero, and the same care applies:
- Ultrasound visualization where it makes a difference — for prior treatments with unclear material, for notable findings, and in areas near vessels, visualization is performed before injection (see Ultrasound-Guided Injection)
- Anesthesiology emergency routine — circulatory and allergic reactions are this practice's core specialty, not an add-on qualification
- Hyaluronidase on hand — available as an immediate measure for hyaluronic acid-based preparations
- A single medical decision-maker — which active-ingredient class fits your findings is decided beforehand, not derived from the treatment menu
When the Mesotherapy Cocktail fits
| Treatment area | Focus |
|---|---|
| Face (general) | Revitalizing skin quality, a fresher appearance |
| Neck and décolletage | General skin-quality improvement, hydration |
| Scalp (separate indication) | For specific indications — determined individually in the initial consultation |
| Hands | Skin-texture improvement on the back of the hands |
| Before important occasions | Revitalization treatment 2–4 weeks before an important event |
How your appointment proceeds
What the Mesotherapy Cocktail is not
Four precise distinctions
- No volume replacement. For structural volume loss, classic fillers or CaHA are professionally more appropriate.
- No immediate effect as with a classic filler. The effect builds cumulatively over several sessions.
- No substitute for medical decision-making. The active-ingredient configuration is determined individually by the physician — no blanket cocktails without findings.
- Not a permanent solution. Regular refreshers once or twice a year are advisable.

This page gives a first overview. What a treatment concretely means for you — which method, which dosage, which expectation is realistic — belongs in a personal consultation at the practice. Unhurried, with findings, with time.

I say openly where the evidence is thin. For micronutrient blends, there are fewer robust studies than for hyaluronic acid or botulinum toxin — that belongs in the consultation before you decide. An observational study in 114 patients on a hyaluronic acid–amino acid–antioxidant blend showed good tolerability and positive user ratings (Scarano et al. 2021) — this, too, is observational data, not a controlled approval study.

Frequently asked questions about the Mesotherapy Cocktail
What's the difference between the Cocktail and MesoLift?
Both are mesotherapy treatments with micro-injection into the dermis. MesoLift focuses on lifting/tone, the Mesotherapy Cocktail on general revitalization and skin quality. The exact active-ingredient configuration is determined in the initial consultation.
Which active ingredients are included?
The active-ingredient configuration is determined individually by the physician based on findings and indication. We use only approved active ingredients. We clarify the solution suited to you in the initial consultation.
How many sessions do I need?
Typically 3–5 sessions, 1–4 weeks apart. A refresher after 6–12 months is advisable.
When will I see results?
Early effects are visible after just 1–2 sessions. Full effect after completing the series.
How long does the effect last?
With a complete session series, typically 6–12 months. Regular refreshers maintain the effect.
Is there any downtime?
Small wheals visible for 4–24 hours after treatment. Make-up possible the next day. Mild bruising occurs occasionally.
Does the treatment hurt?
Well tolerated with numbing cream and a very fine needle.
Can the Mesotherapy Cocktail be combined with other treatments?
Yes — often advisable as a skin-quality foundation, combined with Micro-Droplet Hyaluron, Bio-Remodelling, or classic filler treatments at structural axes.
