The art of perfect proportions

A beautiful mouth is the center of feminine sensuality. However, with age the lips lose moisture, the red of the lips becomes narrower and the contour blurs. An unnatural, “overfilled” result always occurs when the tissue is blindly filled with hyaluronic acid using the wrong technique.

Deep dive: holistic 3D lip design

We work according to the most advanced international, scientific injection concepts. In doing so, we do not look at the lips in isolation, but three-dimensionally in relation to the rest of your face (corners of the mouth, chin, nose).

  • Structure before volume: Before we add volume, we gently define the Cupid’s bow (lip heart) and the fine philtrum columns towards the nose, if desired.
  • Dynamic rheology: Lips are constantly in motion (speaking, laughing, kissing). We use only extremely soft, highly flexible premium gels that adapt seamlessly to the tissue and are not palpable.
  • The golden ratio: We always respect the natural ratio of upper to lower lip (usually 1:1.6) in order to categorically rule out the dreaded “duck lip” phenomenon.

The anesthesia advantage: a relaxed treatment

The lips are among the most pain-sensitive zones of the body. This is precisely where my decisive advantage as a specialist in anesthesiology lies. Your comfort is my priority. In addition to highly effective numbing creams and fillers with integrated lidocaine, I also offer, if required, to make the lip area almost completely pain-free through a tiny local nerve block (similar to the dentist). In addition, for a high level of safety, the enzyme hyalase (for immediately dissolving foreign hyaluronic acid or in emergencies) is always within easy reach in our practice.

Frequently asked questions about lip enhancement

+ Will I get unnatural “sausage lips”?
Definitely not. My philosophy is: “Preserve naturalness.” If you have images of extremely overfilled lips in mind – that is exactly what we do not do. If you have very thin lips, we cannot enlarge them massively in one session. If desired, we build up the tissue in several gentle steps so that it looks absolutely natural.
+ Will lumps form in the lips?
Thanks to our medical injection technique and the use of high-quality, very soft premium gels, the risk is extremely low. In the first 14 days after the treatment, the hyaluronic acid integrates into your tissue. If you still feel a tiny irregularity after that, we simply massage it out at the follow-up appointment.
+ How long does the result last?
The lips have a rich blood supply and are constantly moving (speaking, laughing). Therefore, the body breaks down the soft hyaluronic acid here somewhat faster than, for example, in the cheekbones. Based on experience, a beautiful, hydrated result lasts for 6 to 12 months.
