Costs & Billing

Fairness is the foundation of trust

At “Harmony of Aesthetics,” our commitment to quality does not end with your treatment—it also extends to our billing process. We understand that medical invoices often appear complicated.

That’s why my practice in Herzogenaurach follows a simple principle: Full transparency before treatment. No hidden fees, no surprises. We bill strictly according to the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ)—legally secure for us and easily understandable for you.

Description

Description

Medical excellence at fair prices:This is how your fee is composed.

As a private doctor, I am not bound by the budget limits of statutory health insurance. This means for you: I take the time you truly need, and I use the materials that genuinely work – not just those that are merely “adequate.”

This freedom is reflected in a transparent invoice based on the government Fee Schedule for Physicians (GOÄ) Every procedure, every consultation, and every material is legally regulated there.

For aesthetic patients

Purely aesthetic treatments are subject to value added tax (19%). So that you have complete planning security, we follow a strict procedure:

  • Written contract: Before any aesthetic treatment, we conclude a treatment contract. All costs are fixed therein.
  • Statutory health insurance patients: If you use private medical services, you will be fully informed about my medical fee in advance.
  • Payment conveniently right after the treatment.

For privately insured patients

For medically indicated treatments (e.g. migraine, hyperhidrosis) you will receive a classic medical invoice.

  • GOÄ-compliant invoice for your private insurance or allowance.
  • Laboratory costs: Transparency down to the detail – any arising laboratory costs will be directly billed to you by the specialized laboratory.
  • We support you with questions about reimbursement.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ What does an initial consultation cost?
A serious medical consultation is, according to the German Medicines Advertising Law (HWG) and the GOÄ, never “free of charge.” We charge a fee as per GOÄ for the detailed initial history and consultation (usually around €30–50). If you decide to undergo treatment directly, this amount is often offset against the service.
+ Will my health insurance pay for Botox?
Purely aesthetic treatments are not covered by health insurance. For medical indications such as chronic migraine or hyperhidrosis private health insurances (PKV) often cover the costs. Statutory health insurances usually do not pay for this in a private practice.
+ Why can’t I find a price list on the website?
Because every person is unique. The GOÄ also prohibits doctors from giving flat-rate prices without examination. Our promise: You will not find out the costs only when you get the invoice. After the examination and vor each treatment you receive an exact breakdown. For aesthetic procedures, we also record this in a written treatment contract.
