Hyperhidrosis – treating excessive sweating
Primary focal hyperhidrosis is a medical condition, not a lifestyle problem. It can be treated effectively — with botulinum toxin type A for any body zone, or with HIFU as a needle-free alternative for the underarms. The choice of method and proper pain management determine how successful the treatment is.

Underarms – Botulinum toxin type A
Reduces sweat production for 6 to 9 months. Fast, outpatient, no downtime. Cost is discussed individually at your consultation.
Underarms – HIFU
Focused ultrasound structurally deactivates sweat glands — without injections, with potentially longer-lasting results.
Hands – Botulinum toxin type A with hand block
Regional anesthesia (hand block) allows a fully comfortable treatment — including the fingertips and palms.
Feet – Botulinum toxin type A with foot block
Foot block (ankle block, 5 nerves) is placed before the injections. Cost is discussed individually at your consultation, including anesthesia.
Intimate area
Discreet treatment of inguinal hyperhidrosis with botulinum toxin type A. Effect lasts around 6 months; cost is discussed individually at your consultation.
Hyperhidrosis treatment on the underarms is generally well tolerated — the skin is soft and nerve endings are less dense there. On the palms and soles, the situation is fundamentally different: the stratum corneum is 10 to 20 times thicker than on the underarms, topical anesthetics do not penetrate sufficiently, and both zones have a high density of sensory nerve endings.
As a board-certified anesthesiologist, I perform proper nerve blocks before treating hands and feet — a hand block (median, ulnar and superficial radial nerves) and a foot block (ankle block, 5 nerves). This allows the treatment to be completely pain-free and ensures complete coverage of every zone.
Patients travel here specifically from Erlangen, Nuremberg and Fürth — for treatment that is medically sound and does not compromise on comfort.

No waiting: Appointment-only practice. Your appointment time is entirely yours.
Fair billing: Transparent billing per the German fee schedule for physicians (GOÄ).
“Treating hyperhidrosis on the hands or feet is technically more demanding than on the underarms — not because of the injection itself, but because of the pain. Regional anesthesia solves that problem completely. It isn’t a comfort extra — it’s a medical prerequisite for a complete treatment.”
